What is Mapp2Go

Mapp2Go is an interactive map of Szeged that helps students from abroad find their way in the city and discover new points of interest. Mapp2Go is also a great tool for businesses to make themselves more visible for students.

Comments

Mapp2Go features a commenting system. Comments can be left on points of interest and businesses across Szeged, along with a rating. These reviews can be seen on the interactive map page as a rating average to each pin or a list of comments on each public profile tied to those pins. This feature is open only for student type accounts. The information used for these comments are: poster rating, poster comment and poster username.

These comments are visible publicly, as such, any unprofessional language or behavior will lead to limiting your account’s activity and your impact on Mapp2Go and the city of Szeged.

Cookies

When you log in, Mapp2Go will set up several cookies to save your login information. Login cookies last for a few days. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

Mapp2Go will show select information publicly: username, email, location, business name. Other than showing these informations on public profile, Mapp2Go does not share user information with any other entity. The user has control over what he or she wants to show on the public profile.

How long we retain your data

All user data, comments, profiles information and pins information are saved into the application database. If a user wishes to remove these information, he or she can contact Mapp2Go admin here.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you here.
